Basketball Recap: Porter Comes Up Short

Porter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat. They came up short against the Mounds Golden Eagles, falling 52-30. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-40 back in January.

Porter's loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Mounds, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Porter has already played their next game (against Liberty), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Mounds will head out to take on Hulbert at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
