Basketball Game Preview: Cashmere Bulldogs vs. Connell Eagles

The Cashmere Bulldogs will venture away from home to square off against the Connell Eagles at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Cashmere will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Cashmere beat Zillah 50-46.

Meanwhile, Connell took a blow against Wapato on Tuesday, falling 77-26. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Wolves recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Cashmere's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Connell, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Everything came up roses for Cashmere against Connell in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 61-21 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cashmere since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
