 Albertus Magnus and Nyack are an even 5-5 against one another  since May of 2016, but likely not for long. The Albertus Magnus Falcons will head out on the road to  face off against  the Nyack Red Hawks at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Albertus Magnus is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 12.2  runs per game this season.
 Albertus Magnus only won by two when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 13-point they dealt Our Lady of Lourdes on Saturday. Albertus Magnus was the clear victor by  a  15-2 margin over Our Lady of Lourdes.

  Billy Fontanilla was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring a  run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Lukes Vukdedaj, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.
 Albertus Magnus pushed their record up to 4-1 with that  victory, which was their eighth straight  at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.5 runs per game. As for Nyack, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
 Tuesday's   matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Albertus Magnus has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of .522. However, it's not like Nyack struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .433. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
 Albertus Magnus skirted past Nyack  3-1 in their previous meeting  back in May of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Albertus Magnus since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
