Basketball Game Preview: Charles City Comets vs. Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks

The Charles City Comets will venture away from home to face off against the Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Waverly-Shell Rock took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Charles City, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Charles City earned a 62-55 win over Hampton-Dumont/CAL.

Meanwhile, Waverly-Shell Rock came up short against Clear Lake on Thursday and fell 55-44. The match marked the Go-Hawks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

The victory got Charles City back to even at 5-5. As for Waverly-Shell Rock, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 6-5.
