Their one-goal win came courtesy of Olivia Mouw, which was the first she's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Douglas County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Ponderosa.

The victory made it two in a row for Mountain Vista and bumps their season record up to 4-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two games. As for Douglas County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Mountain Vista took their victory against Douglas County in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0. Will Mountain Vista repeat their success, or does Douglas County has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
