The Winter Park Wildcats will venture away from home to face off against the Bishop Moore Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Winter Park is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

On Thursday, Winter Park was able to grind out a solid victory over Fenwick, taking the game 7-4. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by exactly three runs.

Winter Park got a great performance from Miles Gotlib as he struck out eight batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits (and only one walk). Those eight strikeouts gave Gotlib a new career-high.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Hayden Montanez, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Cole Blalock also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
