Hickory Christian Academy waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Salem Christian School Defenders with a sharp 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Hickory Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Anna Kate Duralia, who had 12 digs and two aces. MaryElla Cook also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Hickory Christian Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 12 aces in three consecutive games.

Hickory Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Salem Christian School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hickory Christian Academy is set to take on their familiar foe Statesville Christian at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Salem Christian School will challenge rival North Hills Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
