Soccer Recap: Whitman-Hanson Regional Takes a Loss

Whitman-Hanson Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Pembroke Titans. While losing is never fun, Whitman-Hanson Regional can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 267th, while Pembroke are ranked 44th).

Whitman-Hanson Regional's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Pembroke, their win bumped their record up to 5-1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Whitman-Hanson Regional will face off against Hingham at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hingham's last five matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Pembroke, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Scituate at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
