Basketball Game Preview: Peabody-Burns Warriors vs. Pike Valley Panthers

After both having extra time off, the Peabody-Burns Warriors and the Pike Valley Panthers will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Peabody-Burns came up short against Herington and fell 57-45. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Railroaders recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Pike Valley also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Sylvan-Lucas by a score of 57-44.

Peabody-Burns will need focus on slowing down Andrew Cooper, one of several Pike Valley players who made an impact when they last played. He almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds. Cooper has been hot recently, having also posted three or more steals the last three times he's played. Braxton Patterson was another key player, putting up eight points and eight rebounds.

Peabody-Burns' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Pike Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
