Volleyball Game Preview: Scotts Valley Falcons vs. Harbor Pirates + How To Watch

Scotts Valley hasn't had much luck against Harbor recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Falcons will be playing at home against the Pirates at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Scotts Valley will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Santa Cruz, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Falcons had just enough and edged out the Cardinals 3-2 on Thursday. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 3, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Harbor, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Aptos with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday. The win was some much needed relief for the Pirates as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

The victory didn't come easy: Aptos scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-18, 25-23.

Harbor's win bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Scotts Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4.

Scotts Valley came out on top in a nail-biter against Harbor when the teams last played back in September, sneaking past 3-2. Do the Falcons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pirates turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
