It was a good run, but Linden unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Big Valley Christian. Linden was not able to make up for their loss to Big Valley Christian from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

While Linden ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-23, 22-25, 25-21.

Their offense was headlined by Mylie Dondero and Madi Murarik, who picked up five kills apiece. They were helped by Allie Kehoe and Sydney Billigmeier, who contributed nine assists each. Millee Holguin controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Linden's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 9-7. As for Big Valley Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Linden will square off against rival Summerville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Big Valley Christian is set to challenge their familiar foe Calaveras at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
