Wakefield School and Foxcroft are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2018, but not for long. The Wakefield School Fighting Owls will be playing in front of their home fans against the Foxcroft None at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Wakefield School: 14.6, Foxcroft: 26.2) so any points scored will be well earned.
Wakefield School can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent match on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Randolph-Macon Academy 46-15 on the road.
Ceci Turner and Meira Barnaby were among the main playmakers for Wakefield School as the former scored 15 points along with seven steals and five assists and the latter scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. Turner is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed four or more in the last 14 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Aya Mason, who scored eight points along with two steals and two blocks.
Meanwhile, Foxcroft struggled with three-point shooting accuracy on Friday (St. Michael the Archangel was 40% better) and sadly the final score reflected it. Foxcroft took a hard 41-22 fall against St. Michael the Archangel.

Wakefield School's win was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-1. As for Foxcroft, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Tuesday's matchup is shaping up to be a scrappy match: Wakefield School have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 27.8 rebounds per game. It's a different story for Foxcroft, though, as they've been averaging only 3.6 rebounds per game. Given Wakefield School's sizable advantage in that area, Foxcroft will need to find a way to close that gap.
Wakefield School strolled past Foxcroft in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 27-12. Will Wakefield School repeat their success, or does Foxcroft have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
