Volleyball Recap: Sarah Frank Key Part of Team Effort in Cougars Win

Newnan won the last time they faced Morrow and things went their way on Saturday too. The Cougars walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Mustangs.

Newnan got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Sarah Frank out in front who had six digs and four aces. That's the most aces Frank has posted since back in September.

Frank wasn't the only good servers: Newnan was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Morrow didn't served any.

Newnan has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-13 record this season. As for Morrow, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-14.

Newnan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Dutchtown on the 11th. Morrow does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
