Peyton Duncan Turns in Season-Best Performance

Peyton Duncan produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Bloomfield to the win on Friday. Duncan rushed for 263 yards and a touchdown while picking up 11.4 yards per carry. He didn't just play on offense: he also made a tackle and defended four passes.

The win for Bloomfield keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. Duncan and Bloomfield will face off against Espanola Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Andres Lazos' Big Game Leads Grants over Moriarty

Andres Lazos was instrumental in extending Grants's winning streak to four on Saturday. Nobody could stop Lazos as he rushed for 111 yards and two touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 111 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Unfortunately for Moriarty, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Lazos. Lazos rushed for 141 yards on only 14 carries the last time he and the Pintos duked it out back in September of 2023.
