Baseball Recap: North Olmsted Takes a Loss

North Olmsted lost to Normandy on Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Invaders. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Olmsted saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brett Zatta, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI. Kody Schneid also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

North Olmsted's loss dropped their record down to 5-8-1. As for Normandy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7.

While North Olmsted had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
