Volleyball Recap: NCSSM: Durham Comes Up Short

After flying high against Hillside on Friday, NCSSM: Durham came back down to earth. The Unicorns fell just short of the Enloe Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Monday.

NCSSM: Durham took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-20, 23-25, 25-20, 15-11.

NCSSM: Durham's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Enloe, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Looking ahead, NCSSM: Durham will be playing in front of their home fans against Triangle Math & Science at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Unicorns surely won't give up without a fight. As for Enloe, they will face off against Millbrook at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
