After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Buckingham Browne & Nichols, Austin Prep was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Cushing Academy Penguins as the Austin Prep Cougars made off with a 3-0 victory. This was payback for the Cougars, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.
While Austin Prep won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-8, 26-24, 25-17.
Austin Prep can attribute much of their success to Olivia McSorley, who had 12 digs.
