Basketball Recap: Restoration Academy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Restoration Academy can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 73-42 loss at the hands of the Georgia Force Christian Blue Knights. Restoration Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Georgia Force Christian was led to victory by Carter McCarn and CJ Britt. McCarn went 11-for-21 en route to 27 points and eight boards, while Britt shot 59% from the field to rack up 22 points and three steals. McCarn has been hot for a while, having posted 15 or more points the last 32 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Edwards, who posted 11 points and six rebounds.

Restoration Academy now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Georgia Force Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-9 record this season.

Restoration Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 76-37 defeat against Lee Park Prep on the 27th. As for Georgia Force Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 58-46 victory against Brevard Christian on the 27th.
