Softball Recap: Washburn Takes a Loss

Washburn lost against Kennedy back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Millers came up short against the Eagles, falling 16-1. The Millers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Washburn saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mirabel Johnson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run.

Washburn's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Kennedy, their victory was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2.

As of now, neither Washburn nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
