Football Recap: Moody Bearcats vs. Milano Eagles
Moody was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 40-0 loss at the hands of the Milano Eagles.
Milano had a senior duo take command as Gerald Dykes rushed for 123 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries and Anthony Valadez rushed for 69 yards and a touchdown. Jackson Reyes did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 90 receiving yards.
Moody's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Milano, the win snapped their losing streak at six games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-2 record.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moody will square off against Mildred at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mildred will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Moody surely won't give up without a fight. As for Milano, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Iola at 7:00 p.m.
