Baseball Recap: Rahway Indians vs. Linden Tigers
Rahway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 12-8 to the Linden Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Rahway of the 15-12 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April.
Shawn MacKay and Filiph Baez did some serious damage despite the final result: MacKay got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three RBI, while Baez scored a run while going 3-for-4. Alex Pineda was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
Rahway's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Linden, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-9.
