Baseball Recap: North Side Comes Up Short

After flying high against Coahoma County last Wednesday, North Side came back down to earth. The Gators came up short against the Leland Cubs on Monday, falling 19-9. The Gators were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cubs earlier this season, when they won 15-5.

North Side's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Leland, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-7.

Coming up, North Side will face off against Edwards at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Leland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
