Red Mesa extends road losing streak to three

The Red Mesa Redskins suffered their biggest loss since January 4th on Tuesday. They were the victim of a tough 61-41 defeat at the hands of Monument Valley. Red Mesa has not had much luck with Monument Valley recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

When it comes to explaining why Red Mesa lost, one person who can't be blamed is Daleni Nakai. Despite the final result, she scored 14 points.

It was another big night for Nevaeh Wilson, who scored 21 points for Monument Valley. The team also got some help courtesy of Shimequa Hudson, who scored ten points.

Red Mesa's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Monument Valley, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

Red Mesa will head out on the road to challenge Fredonia at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Fredonia is ranked 197th, while Red Mesa is ranked 186th). As for Monument Valley, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Whitehorse at 7:00 p.m. Whitehorse is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
