Baseball Recap: Belpre Comes Up Short

Belpre was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 17-7 to the Portsmouth West Senators.

Carson Moore made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Adrik Mclaughlin was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Belpre's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Portsmouth West, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Senators beat Belpre by a score of 9-3 later that day.
