After two games on the road, Mountain View Christian is heading back home. Having just played yesterday, they will get right back to it and host the Pahranagat Valley Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on January 17th. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Mountain View Christian fought the good fight in their overtime game against Liberty Baptist Academy on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 46-44.
Meanwhile, Pahranagat Valley's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell 46-39 to Sandy Valley.
Mountain View Christian bumped their record down to 1-4 with that defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 24.6 points per game. As for Pahranagat Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.
