Soccer Game Preview: Foundation Academy vs. King's Academy

The Foundation Academy Lions will face off against the King's Academy Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Foundation Academy heads in on the heels of a playoff matchup last Tuesday. They came up short against Windermere Prep, falling 4-1. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Lakers: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, King's Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Benjamin last Thursday and fell 4-3. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 143rd, while the Buccaneers are ranked 33rd).

King's Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4-2. As for Foundation Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 13-2-1.
