Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Oak Mountain). They never let the Northridge Jaguars get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Tuesday. Oak Mountain's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four matches.

Their offense was hitting Northridge from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Grant Naumann led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Oak Mountain pushed their record up to 21-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those eight games. As for Northridge, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-2-2.

Coming up, Oak Mountain will square off against Fort Payne at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Northridge, they will be playing at home against Homewood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Homewood will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Northridge surely won't give up without a fight.
