Bellingham came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Burlington-Edison Tigers. The Bayhawks' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

While Bellingham ultimately came up short, they really made Burlington-Edison work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-15, 25-15.

Bellingham's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Burlington-Edison, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bellingham is set to challenge their familiar foe Mount Vernon at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Burlington-Edison will square off against rival Oak Harbor at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
