Soccer Recap: Mount Pisgah Academy Comes Up Short

The Mount Pisgah Academy Mountaineers lost 9-2 to the Pisgah Bears on Thursday. Mount Pisgah Academy were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 6-1.

This is the second loss in a row for Mount Pisgah Academy and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Pisgah, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-4-1.

Looking ahead, Pisgah will head out to face off against East Henderson at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Mount Pisgah Academy will be paying especially close attention to the Bears' match: after the Bears faces off against North Henderson, they'll take on Mount Pisgah Academy again at 5:30 p.m. on May 8.
