Baseball Recap: Maritime Academy Charter Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Maritime Academy Charter, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They walked away with a 9-5 win over Mariana Bracetti Academy on Wednesday.

The team relied heavily on Jadin Aviles, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Miguelangel Ramirez, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI.

Maritime Academy Charter's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-5. As for Mariana Bracetti Academy, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-2.

Coincidentally, Maritime Academy Charter and Mariana Bracetti Academy will both be playing Kensington the next time they take the field. Mariana Bracetti Academy will head out to face the KENSINGTON TIGER at 2:30 p.m. on the 22nd, while the Seadogs will host them at 3:15 p.m. on the 24th.
