Softball Recap: Pulaski Takes a Loss

Pulaski lost against De Pere back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Red Raiders fell just short of the Redbirds by a score of 3-2. The game snapped a strange streak: the last three times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Pulaski saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Molly Molthen, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Samantha Klarner also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Pulaski's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for De Pere, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Pulaski will challenge rival Green Bay Southwest at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, De Pere is set to square off against their familiar foe Green Bay Preble at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Redbirds 2.5, the Hornets 0.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
