Basketball Recap: Lincoln Starts Season with Victory on the Road + How To Watch

Lincoln had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They strolled past the Mountain House Mustangs with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 73-59. The Trojans pushed the score to 55-34 by the end of the third, a deficit the Mustangs cut but never quite recovered from.

Johnathan Rossiter was nothing short of spectacular: he went 8-for-16 en route to 26 points. Another player making a difference was Semaj Blueford, who posted six points along with six rebounds and five assists.

When it comes to explaining why Mountain House lost, don't look at Jordan Williams. Despite the final result, he shot 41% from the field on his way to 18 points and seven boards. Braylon Major was another key player, putting up six points and six rebounds.

Mountain House's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2.

Lincoln wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 63-55 defeat against Bellarmine College Prep on the 29th. As for Mountain House, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 78-52 victory against Ripon Christian on the 2nd.
