Softball Recap: Sedro-Woolley Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Sedro-Woolley and Blaine meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Saturday. The Cubs were the clear victors by an 18-3 margin over the Borderites. The Cubs haven't had any issues with the Borderites recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Sedro-Woolley pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 22.0 runs over those games. As for Blaine, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Sedro-Woolley is set to face off against their familiar foe Lakewood at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Blaine will take on rival Meridian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
