Softball Recap: Flathead Braves vs. Glacier Wolfpack
If Flathead was riding high fresh off their 19-9 takedown of Columbia Falls last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Braves came up short against the Glacier Wolfpack on Tuesday, falling 11-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolfpack this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-5 back in April.
Kinsey Lake made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in two of her three plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run. Another player making a difference was Sophia Torgison, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
Flathead has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Glacier, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-3.
