Soccer Recap: Huntingtown Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Huntingtown kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the McDonough Rams by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Huntingtown of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

McDonough's victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Huntingtown will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Calvert at 6:15 p.m. on the 30th. As for McDonough, they will welcome Patuxent at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
