It was a good run, but Pe Ell/Willapa Valley unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Naselle Comets by a score of 7-6. Pe Ell/Willapa Valley was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Naselle apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Pe Ell/Willapa Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Naselle, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pe Ell/Willapa Valley will venture away from home to square off against Adna at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Pe Ell/Willapa Valley surely won't give up without a fight. As for Naselle, they will head out to challenge Ocosta at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
