Soccer Recap: Rockbridge County Comes Up Short

Rockbridge County and Harrisonburg pushed the score to 8-0 the last time they played Harrisonburg, but on Wednesday defenses reigned supreme. The Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Blue Streaks. While losing is never fun, Rockbridge County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 213th, while Harrisonburg are ranked 101st).

Rockbridge County dropped their record down to 1-7 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Harrisonburg, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-3-1.
