Football Recap: Eastridge Takes a Loss

Eastridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 12-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Brockport Blue Devils. The Lancers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2022.

Anthony McKinney threw for 130 yards and one touchdown. Troy Caulkins was his top target, picking up 63 receiving yards. On the ground, Cahmari Hayes rushed for 101 yards.

Eastridge's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Brockport, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Eastridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brockport, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Greece Arcadia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
