Basketball Recap: Terra Nova Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Terra Nova can now relate to. They fell 53-46 to the Soquel Knights on Saturday.

Soquel's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nico Ramirez, who posted eight points in addition to six boards and five assists. Ramirez has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Chase Petersen, who put up ten points.

Terra Nova's loss dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Soquel, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-13.

As of now, neither Terra Nova nor Soquel have any future games scheduled.
