Softball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 7-2 to the Cleveland Warriors. That's two games in a row now that the Quakers have lost by exactly five runs.

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Cleveland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin will welcome Roosevelt at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Quakers are facing the Roughriders at the right time seeing as the Roughriders are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Cleveland, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ida B. Wells at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
