Football Recap: Highland Takes a Loss

Highland fell victim to Cle Elum-Roslyn and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Warriors and fell 59-0. The Scots haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Cle Elum-Roslyn, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Highland is set to challenge their familiar foe Goldendale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cle Elum-Roslyn will take on rival Kittitas/Thorp at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Warriors 13, Kittitas/Thorp 2.6) so any points scored will be well earned.
