Mendon has gone  a perfect 10-0 against White Pigeon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Saturday. The Hornets will be playing at home against the Chiefs  at 1:00  p.m. Mendon is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.4  runs per game  this season.
Mendon's pitching crew heads into the  game  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Thursday. They put the hurt on Colon with a sharp  14-0 win. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Magi recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive  victory against them.
 Ally Butler made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out nine over six innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  run. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in May of 2024.

What's more,  Samson posted two  RBI, the most she's  had since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Gracie Schultz, who  went 2-for-3 with three  runs.
 Meanwhile, White Pigeon was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight  defeat. They came up short against  Bangor, falling  10-0.
 White Pigeon's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Mendon, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.
 Mendon took their  victory against White Pigeon  in their previous meeting  back in April of 2023 by a conclusive  12-0 score. Do  the Hornets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Chiefs turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
