Lambert has gone 7-2 against Forsyth Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Longhorns will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lambert has three straight wins, Forsyth Central has eight straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

If Forsyth Central heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Lambert took over last week. The Longhorns took down Alpharetta 34-17 on Friday.

Lambert didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Luke Lemoine and Hudson Lee. Lemoine got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Special teams was a major factor in the game for Lambert, racking up 16 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Lukas Gonzalez, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Forsyth Central played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 34-6 defeat at the hands of Denmark. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 297th, while Denmark are ranked 78th).

Lambert now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Forsyth Central, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Everything came up roses for Lambert against Forsyth Central in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 42-7 victory. Will the Longhorns repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
