Basketball Game Preview: Barstow Aztecs vs. Silverado Hawks

Barstow is 1-9 against Silverado since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Barstow Aztecs will host the Silverado Hawks at 7:00 p.m. Barstow has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Wednesday, Barstow ended up a good deal behind Victor Valley and lost 76-60. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (55), the Aztecs still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Silverado entered their tilt with Adelanto on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Saints 56-32. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Silverado has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a massive bump to their 16-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.9 points per game. As for Barstow, their loss dropped their record down to 13-12.
