Westmont posted their closest victory since April 11, 2024 on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Plano Reapers 3-1. The Sentinels haven't had any issues with the Reapers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Westmont's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Rocco Damato, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Westmont's victory bumped their record up to 4-5-1. As for Plano, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.
