Watauga entered their tilt with Alexander Central on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 3-1. Watauga have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Alexander Central, too.

Morgan Flynt and Savannah Rogers scored all three of Watauga's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

Watauga's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those four contests. As for Alexander Central, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4-4.
