Basketball Recap: South Houston Trojans vs. Fort Bend Bush Broncos

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact South Houston can now relate to. They were outmatched by the Fort Bend Bush Broncos and fell 86-57. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 303rd, while the Broncos are ranked 68th).

Several Trojans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jordan Buckner, who posted 23 points and five boards. Makih Cowart was another key player, going 6-for-7 to rack up 14 points and seven rebounds.
