The Caravel Academy Buccaneers will head out to face off against the Caesar Rodney Riders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Caravel Academy has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 122 points over their last three matchups.

Caravel Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Delaware's top teams: Dover, who was ranked tenth at the time (Caravel Academy was ranked first). The Buccaneers breezed past the Senators to the tune of 41-13 on Friday. Fans of the Buccaneers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Meanwhile, Caesar Rodney strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against William Penn by a score of 15-6. While the Riders didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-7), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Caesar Rodney's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Caravel Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Caravel Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Caesar Rodney in their previous matchup back in September of 2019, but they still walked away with a 26-21 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Buccaneers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
