Baseball Recap: Reed Takes a Loss

Reed came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the McQueen Lancers, falling 13-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lancers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 on April 12th.

Reed saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tai Chang, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Reed now has a losing record of 14-15. As for McQueen, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-14-1.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Reed is taking a road trip to challenge Spanish Springs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McQueen, they will head out to take on Galena at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
