Volleyball Recap: Little Chute Find Success

Little Chute won the last time they faced Wrightstown and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Mustangs came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

The final score came out to 27-25, 25-17, 19-25, 25-23.

Ashley Graf paced Little Chute's offense, picking up 12 kills. Graf got some help from Leah Vanden Hogen and her 17 assists. Vanden Hogen was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

When it comes to explaining why Wrightstown lost, don't look at Gwen Mihalski. Despite the final result, she had 25 assists and nine digs. With that strong performance, Mihalski is now averaging an impressive 13.2 assists per game. Lucy Mulder also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Little Chute now has a winning record of 15-14. As for Wrightstown, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-20.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Little Chute will venture away from home to take on Sheboygan South at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wrightstown, after both having extra time off, they and Kiel will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
